OUR STORY

HEDCard is born from HED, a top smart card chip manufacturer (ranks world #2 for shipments in 2023). Since its establishment, more than 30billion smart cards have been equipped with HED chips. HEDCard is incorporated with the mission to support global mid-sized card manufacturers, helping them build their own R&D and supply chain capacity.

HEDCard is born from HED and supported by senior executives from smart card and semiconductors industry. We are founded on the belief that global vision and powerful partnerships can make good companies great. 

 

We work with regional card manufacturers, providing them comprehensive products (chip+OS) and technical support, to enable them build-up their own product roadmap with independence. ​

Our Journey So Far

2002

HED IS FOUNDED

HED was founded as one of the first smart card chip design & manufacturer in China.

2006

FIRST SIM CARD CHIP LAUNCHED

HED launched first SIM card chip in China, which was soon used by main Chinese smart card vendors to mobile operators like China Mobile, China Unicom, and other operators abroad.

We have established partnerships with industry chain enterprises, achieving the integration of the entire supply chain, covering wafer production, wafer testing, chip production and testing, OS & applet development, etc., and offer our clients with large-scale, secure, and reliable product supply capabilities.
